What makes me allergic to seafood?

+1 vote
I remember I was not allergic to anything as a kid. But when I reached puberty, I got allergic to seafoods (shrimp, crabs, squids) I'm 20 now and still all I can eat is fish. The others make my ears and mouth itch.
I googled it, and I really can't understand about the allergens thingy.
Big thanks. :D

allergy is basically an over response of the body immune system to foreign particle in most cases proteins... Allergens are the foreign partices which activate the immune system... The thing with allergy is that it can appear anytime in life and similarly dissappear... Be patient and avoid seafood as long the allergy last.
