What should I do about my weed smoking habit?

+1 vote
I just started college. I've been getting straight A's so far. (highschool I got A's and B's) I'm planning on becoming a doctor one day so I'm pretty devoted on keeping my grades up. I have 12 more years of school and residency to go!
Anyway...
I've been smoking weed for about 3 years now. Sometimes I might smoke for 3 months straight and stop for 5 or 6. Or it could be shorter and I'll smoke for 2 weeks and stop for a week or 2. It really varies. Well I thought that I would eventually grow out of it, but I'm scared that I wont. It just never gets boring smoking weed! I love it. I wish there was something that could make me hate it, but I'm beginning to doubt that will ever happen. Yes yes, I already know about the consequences of smoking.
1. Legal problems
2. Health issues
3.Social repercussion

But the thing is, 90% of the time I smoke privately and I'm so freaking good at hiding it. Only a few of my friends know I smoke it, so I'm absolutely not afraid of the social repercussion, and legal problems.
The only thing that could stop me from smoking weed is getting a job that does drug tests. Which...I only work during the summers because of my packed school schedule during the rest of the year. Also, there are synthetic weeds out there if I wanted them during work. So my question is...WHAT DO I DO!?

What's the problem. Sounds like ya got a good thing going. Keep getting good grades, I'm proud of ya. A little weed really doesn't make you a criminal or addict, and you deserve to have some fun, just stay responsible. You will have to stop during your residency (you won't have time anyway). Good luck to you.

If it gets legalized then you have no problem. Invite others so at least you can make friends.
